The directions assume you are approaching from the A10 (the nearest exit of the Peage is Junction 36 (Pons).
After leaving the autoroute head west to Gemozac towards direction of Royan. Gemozac has a by-pass with three roundabouts. At the first roundabout take the first exit, at the second roundabout take the second exit and at the third roundabout take the second exit. The next village to Gemozac is Chadeniers - as you exit the village there is a long tree lined straight at the end of which is a 'beware of the deer' road sign. The turning to St. Andre de Lidon is on the right, a couple of hundred yards after this sign. It is sign posted. From the point you leave the Autoroute (Junction 36 Pons) it is 8 miles before you need to turn right to St. Andre de Lidon - it is about 2 miles. After about 1 mile the road sweeps quite sharply to the left and later crosses a railway line. When you reach St. Andre Village you will find yourselves at an off-set crossroads. You need to turn left and immediately right. The sign-post is to Thaims and Grezac. Keep along this road, pass through the hamlet of Le Chaillaud until you come to Bel Air (this is exactly 1 mile from the off-set crossroads at St. Andre. You now turn right into the hamlet of Chez Bouchard (sign-posted). the house is situated as indicated on the plan. You should have covered 11.5 miles from the Pons turn off.
You can also travel by air on the airlines mentioned above.
